First time here tonight and will definitely not be the last. I wish I got the name of our waitress because she was phenomenal, and so fun to talk to. She clocked my opal ring so fast and we had a fun lil conversation about it being both of our birthstones. The other staff was also top notch, I didn’t have an empty glass of water or a finished plate for more than a few minutes tops. And the FOOD, my goodness, some of the best steak I’ve ever had and the steak butter was to die for. 100000/10 recommend this place, also whoever controlled the music has good taste.

Wow! What a wonderful experience! Loved loved loved all the food. The crab cakes were delicious! Our server was wonderful. All the staff were so friendly and nice! We ordered four appetizers and four entrees for the four of us. The quantity was a lot! We loved the sausages, the salmon, ribye.. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place. It was quite full on a Friday evening, suggest a reservation.

I had such a great experience at The Standard! I ordered the filet with mashed potatoes, and it was cooked perfectly, so tender and flavorful. My friend had the garlic pasta with shrimp, and she loved it! We ended the meal with the banana cream brûlée, and wow… it was absolutely delicious. The vibe, the service, and the food were all on point. Can’t wait to go back!!!

My family and I truly enjoy this restaurant—it is our go-to destination for a great meal and for celebrating special occasions. This evening, we were there to celebrate my parents’ 40th wedding anniversary. Our server, Jeffrey F., was absolutely outstanding. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly attentive, making the experience even more memorable. Jeffrey surprised our table with two glasses of champagne to help mark the occasion, and the thoughtful card signed by the staff was a gesture we will never forget. In addition to the exceptional service, the food is consistently delicious and the specialty cocktails are excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

Outstanding service and food. The short rib is delicious and the perfect comfort meal. Food was cooked perfectly, but the chicken parm was a little spicy for us. French onion soup was great. The chocolate crème brûlée and the sticky toffee are great desserts.

First of all ask for josh when you come! When is the last time you high fived your server !!?? Absolutely amazing service that makes you want to come back. Coming in right behind the service was the food which was Absolutely amazing! Dip your steak in the broth from the mussels and youll be in heaven ! Lastly the smoked dirty martini is one of a kind! Most balanced drink ever ! Thanks for the amazing service!

Enjoyed an incredible dinner while here in Toledo on business. I searched "best restaurants in Toledo" and this place popped up. Allison was our server and was absolutely awesome. So kind and polite and loved engaging with her guests. This place will definitely be on the agenda the next time I'm visiting Toledo for work.

My boyfriend took me here for our Valentine’s dinner. There was a rose on the table when they sat us (nice touch) our server Kevin might have been the best server I have ever experienced. You could tell he really loves his job and the place he works for. Gave us great suggestions as well! The feta dip is top tier and should not be missed when ordering. We got salmon and New York strip. Both were great. The mashed potatoes as a side was phenomenal! Over all love love loved our time here!

The food was absolutely AMAZING. We were blown away just by the appetizer! Oh my gosh, when the main course came, WOW. Absolutely delicious. I took my husband for his birthday and they gave him dessert with candle and even a card signed by the chef and staff. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. We've already send pictures of our food to all our friends! We even had a key lime pie to take home 🤣. Thank you for such an amazing birthday dinner for my husband!

Dined on January 18th for our friend’s birthday. Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was excellent across the board—from perfectly prepared entrées to dessert—and the atmosphere was relaxed but upscale, just what you want for a great night out. Huge credit to our server, Josh, who was absolutely outstanding. Attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. He made sure everything came out just right and really elevated the entire experience. If you’re looking for great food, quality drinks, and top-tier service, The Standard delivers. We’ll definitely be back—and hopefully with Josh again.
